Hello! I’m Arpi—a wife, mother of three, and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). With a B.S. in Health Sciences, and a Certificate in Human Lactation, I bring both academic knowledge and clinical experience to my practice. My background includes over 8 years of working in the healthcare industry. I have worked with families across a variety of settings and in various facilities in the Philadelphia area including the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and St. Christopher’s Center for the Urban Child.
As I journeyed into motherhood, I fell in love with breastfeeding. I was deeply inspired by the science behind lactation and the incredible capabilities of the human body. I am here to provide the support you need as you navigate this transformative time in your life. What matters most to me is getting to know you and your unique journey. Understanding how your baby (or babies) are doing, as well as how you are adjusting to these new changes, is my top priority. Because not only am I an IBCLC, but I am also a mom who’s been there and gets it.
Whether you are a new or experienced parent, my goal is to support, empower, and guide you. I am passionate about customizing care to fit your family’s needs and helping you achieve your breastfeeding goals.

Does health insurance cover lactation consulting services?
In most cases YES! Most insurance companies do cover visits with a lactation consultant at no out of pocket cost. I am in network with Aetna, and Independence Blue Cross. I have also partnered with Wildflower Health to provide in network coverage with Cigna.
If you do not see your insurance listed, please email hello@arpidlactation.com to verify insurance coverage. If I do not have coverage with your insurer, you may book a self pay visit. For self pay visits, I can provide a superbill for my services that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
